Turning Canadian AI research and fintech ideas into products
Canada has quietly become a heavyweight in AI and fintech. Toronto and Montreal are home to leading AI research institutes and a dense cluster of applied AI companies, Toronto's financial district anchors a large fintech and insurance-tech community, Waterloo produces a steady stream of engineering-led startups, and Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa each have strong technology sectors of their own. Startups and SMEs across the country need engineering capacity that can keep up with their ambitions.
Quansail is based in Tamil Nadu with no Canadian office, and serves clients across Canada online. Toronto and Ottawa run 9.5 hours behind India in summer and 10.5 in winter, while Vancouver trails by 12.5 to 13.5 hours, so we anchor each day on a morning call in your time zone, close it with a written summary and book demos during your office hours. Our fintech work includes RxT and Finocall, next to product engineering and AI integrations, and we design around PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25 whenever personal information is involved.
Canadian sectors we support
Bay Street fintech and insurers
Adviser and policyholder portals, digital onboarding and back-office workflows for Bay Street teams, grounded in RxT and Finocall.
Toronto and Montreal AI startups
Customer-ready applications, APIs and monitoring dashboards wrapped around models, so Toronto and Montreal research teams can ship to real users.
Waterloo and Toronto SaaS companies
MVPs plus a committed engineering team for new modules and integrations on existing products.
Small firms and professional practices
CRM, booking and ecommerce tools plus automated workflows that replace spreadsheets and manual admin.
What this could look like in Montreal
A review dashboard for a Montreal applied-AI startup
Say a small Montreal startup has a document-classification model that performs well in notebooks, yet customers cannot use it without a data scientist present. A typical project could wrap the model in a secure web app where client staff upload files, review predictions, correct mistakes and export results, with corrections fed back for retraining. Our evening in India meets the team's morning, so standups happen before their day gets busy, and a written update is waiting when they log on. The first milestone would generally be upload, review and export for a single pilot customer, before adding multi-tenant accounts.
Engineering support for Canadian teams
Canadian clients, from Montreal AI labs to Calgary service firms, usually bring us in for one of the following.
Wrapping research models in product
Applied AI teams in Toronto and Montreal often have strong models but thin product engineering around them. We turn that research into usable software: APIs, review interfaces, monitoring and dashboards that customers and internal analysts can rely on.
Learn more →An MVP plan for busy technical founders
Waterloo graduates and Vancouver founders frequently arrive with deep technical skill and limited time to plan a launch. We help shape an MVP, prioritize features against funding milestones and plan the path to a first release.
Learn more →Replacing manual reconciliations on Bay Street
Insurance brokers and wealth firms on Bay Street still lean on legacy systems and manual reconciliations. We design custom platforms for policy servicing, client reporting and back-office tasks, built with PIPEDA and provincial privacy expectations in mind.
Learn more →Apps fluent in English and French
Serving customers across a bilingual country means apps that handle English and French gracefully. We develop web and mobile products for Canadian SMEs and fintechs that work well from Halifax to Victoria.
Learn more →Morning calls, evening recaps
- Morning standups on Eastern or Pacific time, a written recap at the end of our day, and demos inside Canadian office hours.
- Real fintech delivery behind us: the RxT and Finocall platforms plus a CRM and ERP product we built for financial advisers.
- Invoices in CAD or USD, an NDA, complete IP transfer, and a trip to Canada for kickoff where the engagement merits it.

PIPEDA, time zones and AI: your questions
Will we be dealing with a Canadian subsidiary?
No. There is no Canadian entity or staff; delivery happens online from Tamil Nadu, India. For larger builds, someone can travel to Canada for kickoff.
Eastern or Pacific, how do your hours line up?
Each working day opens with a call during your morning hours, which fall in our evening, to settle priorities and blockers. We wrap up with a written recap, and reviews and demos are booked inside your office hours, Eastern or Pacific.
How do you treat personal information under PIPEDA?
We build for meaningful consent, collect only what each feature needs, restrict access and encrypt data, and can deploy to data centres located in Canada. We follow your privacy program under PIPEDA and, for Quebec users, Law 25, while compliance decisions and privacy-officer responsibilities remain yours.
Can AI be added to the product we already ship?
Yes. We begin with one concrete task whose success can be measured, such as routing support tickets, pulling fields out of documents or searching your knowledge base. A prototype runs on your real data so we can judge accuracy and cost before anything ships.
Bring your Canadian roadmap to us
Share where your product or operations need help, and we will put together a plan with a morning overlap window and invoicing in CAD or USD.
